Edgar Pujol - viool

My name is Edgar Pujol. I was born in Barcelona and I studied violin at the International Menuhin Music Academy in Switzerland with Alberto Lysy and later on with Pierre Amoyal. I played concerts all around the world but now I am more quite living in Hoorn with my wife and two children.
During my own study at the International Menuhin Academy in Switzerland, I was regularly asked to assist Alberto Lysy. Next to my private students I also gave masterclasses in Spain, Argentinia and Portugal.
Teaching is one of my biggest passions. I always feel that there’s nothing more important than learning. Both violin playing and music, and knowledge in general are i think infinite, therefore all we can do is to keep learning and improving, no matter the level one has. That’s a characteristic that unites everyone, from a beginner to an accomplished artist: learning is process that lasts a lifetime.
I’m teaching in English, Spanish, Catalan, French, and Italian (en ….een klein beetje Nederlands.)
